Hello,

My name is Craig Dollins and I am looking forward to being the next School Counselor at Berea Community Elementary School. I take great pride in this opportunity as I am a graduate of Berea Community Schools (2006) and attended BCS in grades K-12. My passion for BCS runs deep and the connection spans several generations of my family. I am the 3rd of 4 consecutive generations to be a Berea Pirate. Due to this deep connection, it has been my lifelong goal to continue to give back to the school system and community that gave me so much throughout my formative years. My post secondary education includes completing a Bachelors of Social Work (Kentucky Christian University), Masters of Social Work with a Certification in School Social Work (Asbury College), and a Rank 1 in School Counseling (Xavier University). I have held several different leadership roles during my time in education. This includes 3 years as an Elementary School Social Worker and 5 years as an Elementary School Counselor in the Erlanger/Elsmere Independent School District located in Northern Ky. I returned to BCS in 2022 and have been working as an Academic & Behavioral Interventionist at the Middle/High school level. I am married to my beautiful wife (Whitney) and we have a 9 month old daughter named Britton. Again, it is truly an honor to serve as 2nd School Counselor in Berea Elementary’s history. Ms. Richardson made a profound impact during her tenure as School Counselor and I hope to continue her legacy of excellence. It’s going to be a great year and I can’t wait to meet all the students, staff, parents, and community members.
