Here is this week's Athletic Schedule.
Go PIRATES!

Greetings,
Berea Independent will extend NTI into Wednesday the 22nd due to hazardous temperatures. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous alert for Madison County, with wind chills ranging into -7 to -15 degrees in the morning. This alert is not taken lightly in our district as it can be very dangerous for our students and staff.
We aimed to be in person but will plan on Thursday to get our students back on campus.
Surrounding districts are treating this threat with the same kind of care for their communities.
Be well and stay safe!
Warm regards,
Dr. Hatchett, Superintendent
Berea Community Schools

Here is the Berea Athletic Schedule for the week of Jan. 20 - 25. Good luck to ALL of our teams and coaches this week. Go PIRATES!!

Greetings Pirates,
Due to the harsh temperatures and the time required to clear our campus of ice that is struggling to melt in these single-digit conditions, we will transition to an NTI (Non-Traditional Instruction) day tomorrow. While our goal is always to have students on campus, the safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority.
We are hopeful to resume in-person instruction on Wednesday, weather permitting. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate these conditions together. Stay safe and warm!
Warm regards,
Dr. Diane Hatchett, Superintendent

Please stay safe and warm, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
