There will be a Special-Called Board Meeting on March 31, 2025, to discuss bond resolution and select auditing firm. There will also be a closed session for board members to discuss the superintendent search.

Good Luck to our HS Baseball team as they play in the 11th Region All A Baseball Tournament this week. They will take on the winner of the FCA and Sayre game on Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. Games are played at Legends Ballpark in Lexington. Tickets are $8.00.
School is in session on Friday, March 14th.
The March Berea Board of Education Meeting will be held in the BCMS/BCHS Theater on March 17, 2025, at 7 PM.

Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 A.M.
Collection boxes will be set up in the Elementary and High School Offices for donated frames/glasses. Individuals can also contact Ms. Harris or Delaney Lemaster, JAGKY State Officer, with any questions.
BCHS National Honor Society is hosting a Blood Drive on March 6th. Due to winter weather events, the KBC supply is in critical need. Donations help the community and fund a scholarship for a Berea senior. Contact lori.mccay@berea.kyschools.us to sign up. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Just a reminder the 44th District Basketball Tournament starts this week. All games will be played at EKU on February 24, 25, and 28. Below is the tournament schedule. Due to ongoing winter weather conditions, Berea Community Schools will be closed tomorrow for a traditional snow day. While we initially planned to be in session, current conditions have led us to make the safest decision for our students and staff.
We recognize that snowfall has been inconsistent across the district. However, reports of black ice during the morning commute have caused us to take a cautious approach to travel.
We wanted to notify you as early as possible to allow for planning, as we understand these changes impact your schedules. The unpredictable nature of this weather continues to create challenges, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our school community.
We will make up the day on March 14th.
