BCHS offers a premier, comprehensive Fire Science course taught by our very own alumnus, Lieutenant Brent Billings of the Berea Fire Department.

This hands-on, real-world program is more than just a class, it’s preparation for life-saving careers. Throughout the year, students explore firefighting equipment and techniques, operate driving simulators that place them in the role of first responders, and present safety demonstrations to our BCES Pirates.

The program provides authentic learning experiences led by experienced professionals and helps prepare students for future careers in emergency services and public safety.
