The following attachment is a resolution statement by the Berea Independent School District affirming the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ students and staff, and emphasizing the commitment to creating safe and inclusive learning and working environments. The statement recognizes that discrimination and harassment against LGBTQ+ individuals can negatively impact their educational outcomes and overall well-being. The resolution condemns any form of prejudice or discrimination based on personal identity or sexual orientation and emphasizes the need to denounce acts of bullying. It affirms the commitment of the Berea Independent School District to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the community to ensure equal access to education in a safe and supportive environment for "all "students, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We are all in this together for children. 

As mentioned above at Berea Community Schools, we strive to ensure a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for "all"  students regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, socio-economic status, gender or identity.
