On Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 4:00 pm, the high school has made plans to recognize our seniors by having a reverse parade. Seniors will also receive back packs with gift cards, transcript information, in addition to gifts donated by the community. The students' names and accolades will be called over a loudspeaker. Seniors will need to show up at 3:30 pm to line for the parade in their vehicles. Staff members who wish to participate should show up at 3:00 pm to social distance and cheer on our seniors. We hope everyone will be on hand to celebrate this momentous occasion. It will be a great way to let the seniors know that we love them and they will be missed. Please be assured that Mr. Brock still plans on holding a more traditional graduation whenever it will be possible to do so.
In the meantime, a virtual graduation video will be released at 7:00 pm tomorrow on Youtube and on the district website. Mr. Fontanez will be sending out information to the senior class and their parents regarding a virtual watch party. Stay tuned for additional information as it becomes available from the high school. Shout-out to Mrs. Sowers, Mr. Fontanez, Ms. Flara, Mr. Brock and any and all who have worked to make this a special time for our seniors. Teamwork makes the dream work! Stay healthy!
