My name is Kim Coyle and I am excited to start this journey at BCES as the elementary principal. I have lived in Madison County since I was 11 years old. This is a special place to me because it is not only where I grew up but where my husband and I have raised our three kids. I consider it an honor to have this opportunity to be a part of the Berea Community family. 

My service in education has been utilized for the past 11 years in elementary schools. I have taught in the classroom for five years, served as the RTI Coordinator for two years, and have currently served as the school counselor for the past four years where I was also the Building Assessment Coordinator, Student Teacher Assistant Team Lead, and 504 Coordinator. With these opportunities, I have gained experience and a wide skill set in the development of children and how to help them succeed in their future dreams while focusing on the whole child. I believe these skills combined with the importance of teamwork are what envelopes the essentials to help lead a school. 

My greatest gift is loving people, especially children. When we take the time to build relationships with students, we begin to lay the foundation to amazing success. Beyond my experience, I believe in the empowerment of others and the deep importance of a school’s culture. We all need one another to bring greater achievement for all. Having a lifelong passion to build community and empowering people to believe.
